Petting Zoo and Pony Rides at Helldorado Days Rodeo
Before the bulls and broncs take over CORE Arena, bring the kids to meet the smaller animals. The Helldorado Days Rodeo petting zoo is a hands-on petting zoo where guests of all ages can pet and feed goats, sheep, rabbits, ducks and chickens. Kids can also take a pony ride. It’s open Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14, 2026, next to the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. Gates open at 4pm, two hours before the rodeo starts.
The animals come from Petting Zoo 2 U, a local company that has served Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City since 1997. They live on a two-acre ranch in the southeast Las Vegas valley and are groomed before every event. Petting Zoo 2 U staff stay in the petting zoo to help kids with the animals, and hand sanitizer is provided on the way out.
